The town is located on the banks of a river and has a bustling market and an airport too. The protagonists of the show are Motu and Patlu who also happen to be best friends. The entire story revolves around the adventures of them. Both of them have a penchant to land themselves in problematic yet comical situations and are later rescued by sheer luck. Motu is a glutton whose favorite food is Samosa.

Most often, his appetite for samosas proves to be the sole reason behind the problems of both them. Whereas Patlu is a weak, slim and witty guy who comes to the rescue of Motu everytime. The show has many other funny characters such as Dr. Jhatka, Chaiwala , Ghasitaram, Chingum, and John to name a few.

Ena Mena Deka:

Ena Meena Deka is a story of three birds namely Meena, Ena and Deka who lead a very happy life. The story revolves around the birds and a fox called Bhukkad who is after their life. The birds are able to beat the fox every time with their witty ideas and leave Bhukkad in unpleasant situations. This series has also been quite popular among the kids.
